SIX AMERICANS ASKED TO VISIT COUNTRY

WASHINGTON, September 28. The Jugoslav Government, through its Ambassador to the United States (Mr Sava Kasonovic), has invited six prominent Americans to go to Jugoslavia to see for themselves the “true situation” regarding the charge of Jugoslav threats against Greece. Those invited include the former Secretary of State (Mr James Byrnes), the author John Gunther, and the “New York Times” writer on military affairs, Hanson Baldwin. Mr Kasonovic, in his letter of invitation, said: “A great misunderstanding has arisen among the American people —that Jugoslavia is supporting the civil war in Greece and is threatening , Greece’s territorial integrity,"
