HIS MAJESTY’S COLONIAL SERVICE.— There is a vacancy in Kenya for a Pasture Research Officer at a salary in the scale £4OO by £25 to £6OO, £660 by £3O to £B4O sterling. A local temporary cost-of-living allowance is also payable: in addition, free furnished quarters and free passages are provided, and the usual East African leave conditions apply. The post is permanent and pensionable. The duties of the post are in connexion with grassland research and pasture investigation.
