In his first fight for 15 months, Vince Ellul, Australian welter-weight, showed superior speed, experience, and ringcraft to gain a comfortable points decision over lan Cruickshank. New Zealand champion, in a professional boxing contest this evening. Because of his lack of fitness, Ellul showed sound tactics in making every punch and movement effective.
