TRANSPORT OF REFUGEES
LOAN OF AIRCRAFT SOUGHT (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 27. The Indian Government has asked the British Overseas Airways Corporation for the loan of 40 Dakota aircraft tc transport Government employees and refugees stranded in Pakistan. The first of the aircraft will reach Agra next week. They will then fly to East Punjab and will carry 1200 passengers on each mass flight. At least 250 casualties are reported to have occurred in an attack on a refugee train at Wazirabad, 62 miles north-west of Lahore.
