PARTS MAY BE READY EARLY NEXT YEAR (P.A.) WELLINGTON, September 26. The editor of the New Zealand war history (Major-General H. K. Kippenberger) hopes to publish the first six parts of the history early next year. Of great value to the research team of 15 historians on his staff was the discovery recently of Field-Marshal Rommel’s reports on some of th£ most important battles in the Middle East. Sufficient documentary evidence has been collected to enable a comprehensive history of the Italian campaign to be proceeded with.
