MARKETS AGAIN QUIET Markets were again quiet on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday, and prices generally were well maintained. A good demand for bank, industrial, and chain, stores’ stocks was in evidence, but few parcels of shares changed hands. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile, ordinary stock, Broken Hill. Proprietary, Dunlop, New Zealand, ordinary stock, and Electrolytic Zinc preference stock found buyers at advanced prices. DOMINION TRANSACTIONS
