YESTERDAY IN THE HOUSE
(From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, September 25.
The House of Representatives confined itself to-day to two topics. The first was licensing law, the discussion of which was more or less on a nonparty basis, with the Government leaders carefully refraining from committing themselves, in the evening the House returned to bitter party politics, discussing the Control of Prices Bill, parts of which' were strongly criticised by Opposition spokesmen.
