Notice is hereby given that the warrants for dividend will be transmitted by post on the 30th July, 1947. The dividend will be paid in London in Sterling and in New Zealand and Australia at the current Air Mail buying rate of exchange for Demand Drafts on London at date of the Dividend Warrants, viz., 30th July, 1947. The Bank is liable for Social Security Charge upon this Dividend, and no Social Security Charge is payable by the Shareholder. By reason of double taxation relief, the net United Kingdom rate of tax payable by the Bank in respect of the Interim Dividend is 4/9Jd in the £. Under Section 52, Finance (No. 2) Act, 1945, tax is deductible by the Bank from this dividend at the full standard rate of 9/- in the £. The net dividend receivable by Shareholders is the same as the amount paid in respect of the Interim dividend for the previous year.
