THEFT OF WOOL
MAN SENTENCED TO IMPRISONMENT
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. July 25. When the police stopped William riyslop on the Glasgow wharf, Wellington, last night they found a parcel of wool under his coat. At the police station another parcel was found concealed in his trousers.
To-day he was charged in the Magistrate’s Court with the theft of the wool, and Mr J. H Thompson, S.M., sentenced hirr to seven days’ imprisonment.
It was stated that accused had served for five years with the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
