SUNKEN CARRIER AT BIKINI
OBJECTS FROM DECKS STILL RADIOACTIVE (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 11 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 18 Objects which divers brought to the surface from the decks of the sunken carrier Saratoga at Bikini lagoon yesterday were found to be still radioactive, according to dispatches from the group scientists who are now resurveying the scene of the atom bomb tests. The divers spent 45 minutes aboard the ship, which is on an even keel under 200 feet of water.
