BUDGET SURPLUS IN U.S.

SECOND HIGHEST IN HISTORY WASHINGTON, July 2. The Secretary of the Treasury (Mr John Snyder) announced that the United States fiscal year to June 30 closed with a Budget surplus of 754,000.000 dollars. It was the first surplus since 1930 and the second highest the United States has ever achieved.
