INVERCARGILL MAN WINS CROIX DE GUERRE

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 2. The French Croix de Guerre has been awarded to Flight Lieutenant Colin Alexander Hynd, D.F.C., Invercargill, according to advice received by the Air Department. The award

was made on the special recommendation of General Bouscat for distinguished services during special operations connected With the liberation of France in 1944.
