BRITAIN’S DRIVE FOR EXPORTS
IMPORTANCE OF WOOL (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, July 1. The leading part which wool and wool textiles will play in the national export drive was further indicated by the issue to-day to topmakers and merchants of the largest export allocation in wool tops made since the war ended, states the “Yorkshire Post.” The total is not disclosed, but it trade estimates based on individual allocations are reliable, it will facilitate top exports on a scale larger than the pre-war average and will aggregate many millions ol rounds weight for the period ending next November.
