NICARAGUAN HOUSE DISSOLVED

NEW ASSEMBLY TO BE ELECTED (Rec. 9.2 p.m.) MANAGUA June 11. The provisional President of Nicaragua (Mr Benjamin Lacayo Sacasa), after a meeting of the Nicaraguan Cabinet, issued a decree calling for the election of a constituent assembly on August 3. The assembly will meet on August 26 to reform the constitution and reorganise governmental procedure. The present Congress is declared dissolved, and Mr Sacasa takes over legislative powers until the new constitution is written. Entries for Wimbledon^— Entries for the Wimbledon lawn tennis championship singles, which closed to-day. show that of 118 accepted for the men’s singles only 38 are British.
