PUBLICATION OF EVIDENCE

I CHARGES AGAINST NAGY ALLEGED STATEMENTS BY SECRETARY (Rec. 12.15 a.m.) BUDAPEST, June 11. The Hungarian Ministry of the Interior to-day published the evidence against the former Prime Minister, Mr Ferenc Nagy, allegedly given by his secretary, Mr Ferenc Krapocs. The Ministry says that Mr Krapocs said that Mr Nagy was “playing a double game.” He conspired against the Hungarian republic and also was in contact with the leader of the Smallholders’ Party before the war, Mr Tibor Eckhardt, who is in exile in the United States, and had agreed to a pro, posal to form a right-wing bloc. A Communist deputy, Mr Joseph Revai, declared in the Assembly that the Communists were not opposed to the western powers and were prepared to accept a loan for reconstruction, but domestic policy could not be decided in either Washington or Moscow.
