CONFERENCE OF LABOUR PARTY

4 1 VENUE FIXED FOR NEXT THREE YEARS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 10. For the first time since before the war the New Zealand Labour Party conference will be held away from Wellington. The conference has decided unanimously to sit next year in Dunedin, where the Otago centennial celebrations will be held. Auckland will be the venue for the 1949 conference, and Christchurch will be the scene of the 1950 conference, which will coincide with the exhibition to be held in that city.
