Boxing in Britain.— The Dundee heavy-weight, Ken Shaw, conceding over two stone, outpointed the former champion, Jack London, and earned the right to fight Freddie Mills in the final elimination bout to decide who will challenge Bruce Woodcock for the British title. The second of the European bantam-weight champion. Theo Midina, threw in the towel in the sixth round when Peter Kane battered the Frenchman to exhaustion. Kane is expected to challenge Medina for the title, which the Frenchman won from Jackie Paterson last October.—London. June 9.
