ARMY PARTY FROM JAPAN The party of officers, other ranks, and members of the women’s services who have elected to serve a further term in Japan will arrive in New Zealand for leave with the first draft of men returning for discharge in July. The party comprises 11 officers, 14 women, and 181 other ranks. Twenty-eight days’ leave will be granted in New Zealand, and the party will then be remobilised in Papakura and Bumham, Men and women from the South Island who will go to Burnham will probably be there for a short time and then be transferred to Papakura.
