GOVERNMENT FOR INDONESIA
REPLY GIVEN TO DUTCH PROPOSALS BATAVIA, June 8. The Indonesian reply to the Dutch Note on the formation of an interim government was handed to the Netherlands authorities in Batavia yesterday. The Indonesians are said to have agreed in principle with the Dutch proposals,, but to be demanding a majority in the Government A solution of the conflict between Dutch and Inddnesian opinion on the organisation of trade, defences, and diplomatic services is also necessary. The full text of the Indonesian Note will be released tO-morrow, it is expected. after it has been, cabled to the Netherlands Government at The Hague.
