A CHAMPION IN ACTION.—The West Indian runner, E. McDonald Bailey, who ran 100 yards in 9.4sec, equalling the world record, at an athletic meeting at Bradford, England, last Saturday. However, it is not expected that Bailey will cialm the record because of a following wind. In this photograph Bailey is seen winning a 100 yards race in London last year, his time on this occasion being 9.8 sec.
