SHORTAGE OF CONSUMER GOODS
Sir,—As it is fairly evident that essential consumer goods are being deliberately withheld from the market, either in anticipation of a price rise or with the object of forcing the conditions necessary for such a rise, could not this and other forms of highway robbery be countered by concerted action in the form of a buyers’ strike?— Yours, etc., SHORN LAMB.
