New B.H. Consolidated.—The London office of New Broken Hill Consolidated, Ltd., has announced the following appointments to the Australian board of directors of the company:—Mr J. P. Fiti" gerald, director and general manager of administration, the Zinc Corporation. Ltd. and general manager of administration of New Broken Hill Consol mated, Ltd.; Mr < G. R. Fisher, general manager of opera* tions, the Zinc Corporation, Ltd., and member of the Australian board of directors of that company; Mr R. P. Hooper, general manager of operations. New Broken Hill Consolidated. Jason Investment Company, Ltd.—A, new issue of 85,000 shares of 10s is offered to shareholders at par in the proportion of one for two. Books close on June 30. Goldsbrough Mort.—The Reserve Bank’s ban on the remittance of funds from New Zealand for investment In Australia has been retained for the new capital issue of one share for three proposed by Goldsbrough Mort and Company, Ltd., NW* bourne. The usual alternatives for New Zealand shareholders are suggested by the bank in reply to an application by the company for permission for funds to be remitted. They are: (1) to use fundi held in Australia to take up the rights, or to divert dividends payable before the closing date; (2) to sell Australian securtties to provide funds; (3) to sell some rights and take up the remainder; (4) to sell sil rights eithdr in Australia or New Zealand.
