TWO VESSELS ON FIRE
(Rec. 10.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 9. The British steamer Malayan Prince, bound for Haifa from Liverpool was ablaze this morning in Alexandria harbour where she is unloading, says the correspondent of the Associated Press. The fire began in a lower hold from an unknown cause and spread with lightning speed. One of the ship’s engineers and an Egyptian guard were injured.
