BRITISH NOTE TO BULGARIA
MEASURES AGAINST NEWSPAPERS (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, June 6. The Foreign Office to-dav published the text of a Note which Britain sent to Bulgaria on June 3 protesting against the suppression of one Bulgarian Opposition newspaper and about the hindrances placed in the way of distribution of another. The Note said that the British Government considered that Bulgaria had infringed the peace treaty clause stipulating freedom of expression.
