FIRE CAUSED BY FAULT IN WIRING

A small fire caused by a short circuit in some electrical wiring was extinguished by the Christchurch Fire Brigade when it answered a call at 5.11 p.m. on Saturday to the Electric Supplies Company at 156 Gloucester street, occupied by Donald Cameron. Some papers had been set on fire, and only slight damage resulted.
