FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE CHURCH PARADE.—V.A.D.’s and Red Cross transport drivers assembled outside the Christchurch Cathedral yesterday morning before attending divine service in the Cathedral. The parade was organised by the North Canterbury centre of the Red Cross Society to honour the memory of Florence Nightingale, who was born on May 12, 1820.
