NON-UNIONIST WORKS TOO HARD

CLAIM BY VICTORIAN STRIKERS MELBOURNE. May 10. Moulders at a Victorian factory nave gone on strike because they claimed that a non-unionist was working too hard. More than 90 employees are idle and 100 more are faced with unemployment unless the non-unionist agrees to work more slowly. The non-unionist, who was recently expelled from the Ironmoulders’ Union, said: “My mates make 65 moulds a day. I make 110. That is my normal capacity. Why should I slow up?”
