Details of Mr Stalin’s conversation with the British Labour delegation which visited Moscow last year are disclosed for the first time in the annual report to be presented to the Labour Party’s Whitsun conference at Margate. Mr Stalin, the report says, recognised that the British had a different Way Of travelling towards Socialism from the Russians, but the Russians believed their way was the shortest, if the most difficult, and that it might be accompanied by bldodshed.
