RATINGS FROM BELLONA
CASE PUT TO LABOUR FEDERATION (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 8. Two representatives of the naval ratings who have exceeded their leave from H.M.N.Z.S. Bellona for more than a week waited outside the Wellington Trades’ Hall this morning to meet the president of the Auckland Trades Council (Mr Alexander Drennan), and then to state their case to a special meeting of the national council of the Federation of Labour. The council Is unlikely to make a statement on any discussion of the Bellona incident, for it has been indicated that the subject is on® of "Government policy.”
