Mails Delayed.— One thousand bags of mail from Britain are not yet discharged from the Federal Line steamer Somerset, which arrived at Auckland from the United Kingdom last Friday. The vessel had been at anchor in the stream because of port congestion. Although the mails were brought from England in a fast 30-day voyage, they had been kept within a mile of their destination for a further five days. The Somerset berthed this morning, and at the end of a stop-work meeting watersiders began the discharge. Registered mail has already been landed. —(PA.)
