WAR IN INDO CHINA
VIET NAM SAID TO BE SEEKING PEACE (Rec. 7 p.m.) PARIS, May 5. It is learned that the Viet Nam Government in northern Indo-China has semi-officially approached the French High Commissioner in Saigon with a view to ceasing hostilities. It is understood that the French Government at a Cabinet meeting considered the terms on which a settlement could be reached.
