Election in Fendalton Riding
The resignation of Cr. L. V Lawrence from the Waimairi County Council has created an extraordinary vacancy on the council. The CountyClerk (Mr H, A. Ferguson) said last evening that nominations for the seat for the Fendalton riding, vacated by Mr Lawrence, would close on May 7 and the election, if one were necessary, would be held on May 28.
