MATCH FOR SMITH TROPHY . A match between the women’s and men’s centres for the Smith trophy .as played by the Shirley Bowling Club yesterday afternoon. The men's centre won by a margin of five points.
WOOLSTON CLUB The following winners of season’s events conducted by the Woolston Bowling Club have been announced:—champion singles, J. R. Battarbee: D. N. Fraser and F. Baxandall; fours, E. Shackleton, T. P. McCormack, A. E. Clark, and W. Riddle; colt, D. H. Whitehead: handicap singles. C. Sinclair: pairs, F. C. Pepper and E. V. Smith; president’s rinks, J. Allison, D. Lingard, E. Parrott, and. F. Baxandall.
