ELECTION OF OFFICERS The Canterbury Science Teachers’ Association, at its first annual meeting recently, elected the following officers:—president, Professor E. Percival; chairman, Mr H. V. Rowe; vice-chair-man, Mr S. A. La Roche; secretary ana treasurer, Mr C. E. Iversen; editor, Mr E. B. Read; committee, Miss M. B. Moore. Messrs J. A. Glen. J. O. Kidson. and N. F. Wylde. , R was decided to publish a quarterly bulletin containing scientific papers in addition to reports of meetings and field days, and information for teachers on class work The evening concluded with the Screening of physical science films on sound wave recording and electrons ui use.
