BRITAIN’S COAL SHORTAGE
Sir,—Many have been very worried over-the intense cold and the shortage of coal in Great Britain; but after reading the English papers to hand I think we can be quite happy about it -all. The Coal Board, on which in some capacity or another. I would expect every available friend and relation - every t ra des union secretary in the United Kingdom to get some job or another, has just ordered “first priority.” to come off the export list if necessary, just 1000 motor-cars for its use. Now then surely that will bring the coal to the surface quick and lively. Great work if you can get it. — Yours, etc.. March 22. 1947 OBVIOUS.
