A low pressure trough is advancing over the South Island. Forecast to 5 p.m.: fresh southerly winds. Weather cloudy and cool, with a few showers, chiefly about and north of Banks Peninsula. WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of tne South Island is:— Moderate southerly winds. Weather becoming fair to fine. Temperatures cool. x
