CAR AND TRAM COLLIDE

In a collision between a tram and a motor-car on Riccarton road last evening, the driver of the car, Roy Blythe, of 173 Junction road, suffered lacerations and concussion. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital at 9.45 p.m., and was reported to be in a satisfactory condition later last evening. At the time of the accident, which occurred at the Division street intersection, the tram was travelling toward the city. Some damage was done to the front, and the motor-car was damaged fairly extensively.
