Forecast to 5 p.m.: moderate to fresh north-east winds, low cloud in the morning, otherwise fair and mild. Further outlook becoming unsettled. WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is:— Moderate north-easterly winds, cloudy, with occasional rain developing in the south.
