Unbranded Goods— lf the public bought unbranded goods they must realise that they did so at their .own risk, said the president of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association (Mr B. J. Masters) yesterday, referring to recent criticism of New Zealandmade goods. The great majority of New Zealand manufacturers branded their goods and were prepared to stand ud to those brands. Every effort was being made to get .all members to brand their goods. It was possible for imported goods to be sold unbranded and, if there were any fault with these goods, the local manufacturer was the one who came in for criticism.
