REDCLIFFS BURGESSES’ ASSOCIATION
ELECTION OF OFFICERS The Redcliffs Burgesses’ Association elected the following officers at its annual meeting:—president, Mr E. J. Ebert; honorary secretary-treasurer. Mr L. J. M. Manson: vice-presidents, Messrs A. E. Walter and H. G. Hunt; committee, Messrs A. A. Besley, W. J. Gallop, W. Bayne, and E. Woods; representative to sports centre, Mr George Shearman: honorary auditor, Mr H. G. Davis. Mr F. T. Eldridge, the first chairman of the association when it was formed in August, 1921. was elected the first honorary life member of the association.
Mr C. E. Burgess, district representative on the Drainage Board, gave a brief outline of recent activities of the board as they affected the district.
