(Rec. 9 p.m.) OTTAWA, March 13. The Toronto independent Conservative .newspaper, “Globe and Mail, criticises the Canadian Government for withdrawing Canadian occupation troops from Germany. It says there is need now for the Dominions to take some of the load from Britain, and contends that the withdrawal of 25,000 Canadian troops from Germany caused the threatened British withdrawal from Grece and American interventl<‘‘The truth is that Canada and the other Dominions now have an historic opportunity to exert an immense, perhaps epoch-making, influence on world affairs by volunteering as partners in the British Commonwealth to share the load which Britain is finding too heavy. . .. . ' M “If the Dominions would rise to the occasion the effect on Britain would be electric. Singly the Dominions are not powerful, but collectively they have tremendous strength.”
