Summer Time in Britain.—“ Having accepted the trade unions’ proposal for double dav shifts instead of night shifts, the Government,” says the “Daily Mail’s” industrial editor, will now amend the Daylight Saving Bill so that single summer time can operate if necessary all the year round.
