RUSSLEY CLUB FINE ROUND BY N. H. FULLER A very fine round of 69, five strokes under the standard scratch score, was played by N. H. Fuller, the club’s professional, at Russley on Saturday. Fuller was out in 34, three under par, and cartie home in 35. The highlight of his round was an eagle at the par five 466-yard ninth hole. He drove, approached and putted extremely well, but slipped a stroke at the fourth hole, and missed a short putt at the sixth. A. J. Shaw, of Auckland, scored 68 at Russley* but the course was then considerably shorter. In December last year D. L. Woon went round in 71. The fairways and greens were in ex* tremely good order for Fuller’s round, and scoring in the Stableford fourball best ball competition, an event held to mark the club's opening day, was good. Results were:—B. S. and Mrs Dudley 45; A. H. Vivian and Miss Ferguson 45; H. R. McKegg and Mrs R. McKegg 44; E. V. Gabites and N. S. Cramond 42; R. G. Stead and A. T. Herbert 42.
