BUREAU OF INDUSTRY DECISIONS

Two applications for licences to make footwear in Christchurch and one for a licence to make footwear in Timaru have been declined by the Bureau of Industry under the Industrial Efficiency Act. They were made by Light Leather Products, Ltd. (licence to make moccasins), P. J. Kelleher (moccasins and Dutch slippers) and N. A. Moyes (wooden beach clogsi.

Another application has been received from J. Huxley, Christchurch, for a licence to make moccasins.

The bureau has declined an application by A. L. Peryman to Sell motor spirit from four pumps in Ferry road. An application by I. J. Mercer, Leeston, to sell motor spirit from one pump was granted.
