WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is:— Moderate northerly winds prevailing. Weather fair and warm from Greymouth northward, and cloudy to the south with some drizzle. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather yesterday was fine and sunny, with a strong north-east wind. The maximum temeprature was 78.2 degrees. At 1 o’clock this morning the sky was overcast, with a light southwest wind. The barometer, steady, registered 3tf.oBin (1018.6 millibars).
