ATTACKED BY SOLDIERS
JUGOSLAV CONSUL KILLED (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, January 25. A spokesman for the Allied forces at Caserta announced that two representatives of the Jugoslav Government Repatriation Commission were injured, one fatally, when anti-Broz Jufoslav soldiers in a camp near Naples attacked them when they went to interview the inmates of the camp. The victims were Vicko Clunic, Jugoslav Consul in Naples, who was killed, and Vincovic Engel, consular attache, who is on the dangerously ill list. Jugoslavia regarded the attack as very serious, said officials of the Jugoslav delegation in Italy, quoted by Reuter’s correspondent in Rome. The delegation demanded a ‘full explanation from the Allied Supreme Command. The men visited the camp because the Allies did not answer a request for information. •
