PIANIST CANCELS RECITAL
(Rec. 7 p.m.) PARIS. January 22. The pianist Alfred Cortot, after what the newspaper “Paris Presse” describes as repeated warnings from former members of French resistance movements. has at the last minute cancelled a recital which he was scheduled to give at Limoges to-night. Cortot’s opponents charge him with playing twice during the war to Berlin audiences.
