PRIME MINISTER OF GREECE REPORTED OFFER TO LIBERAL LEADER (Rec. 7 LONDON, Jan. 16. Reports from Athens suggest that pressure is growing against the Greek Prime ’ Minister (Mr Tsaldaris), and that he may be forced to resign. Mr Tsaldaris is reported to nave offered *to resign the premiership if Mr Themistocles Sofoulis, leader of the Liberal Party, would co-operate with him as a joint deputy Prirrie Minister. Mr Sofoulis has refused the offer and is standing firm in his demand that he be appointed Prime Minister. His policy is one of appeasing the Left. According to observers, Mr Tsaldaris cannot count on a majority in the Chamber of Deputies if any issue should come to a vote in Parliament.
