TRADE AND EMPLOYMENT CONFERENCE
N.Z. DELEGATES LEAVE FOR NEW YORK (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 16. The New Zealand delegates to toe preliminary committee in New York of the United Nations conference on trade and employment left Whenuapai for the United States by ait to-day« They were Messrs L. S. Nicol, of the Customs Department, and G. D. I* White, of the Stabilisation Commission. They expect to be away about six weeks. The New York conference will be one of experts of the nations concerned. They will work out technical details of a draft agreement which Wil} be the basis for discussions at a ft" l conference In Geneva later in year.
