GENERAL STRIKE AT MOMBASA
EUROPEANS REGISTERED AS CONSTABLES (NJZ. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) CAPE TOWN, Jan. 15 The authorities at Mombasa' have registered all able-bodied Europeans as special constables to maintain essential services, threatened bv the African labourers general strike, which has now lasted three days. Three hundred persons have been arrested so far.
